HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENTS

Energy New England (ENE) provides no-cost energy assessments to residential customers of its partnering utilities. ENE’s expert Residential Energy Advisors will assess your home to identify heating, lighting, and weatherization opportunities can lead to increased energy efficiency and save money on your utility bills. All participants receive a Home Energy Assessment report that describes potential home improvements, the return-on-investment ratio, and a summary of rebate programs. ENERGY STAR® APPLIANCE REBATE INCENTIVE PROGRAM

The Merrimac Municipal Light Department (“MMLD”), in an effort to improve energy efficiency in the Town of Merrimac, is pleased to once again offer the residents of Merrimac, who purchase energy efficient EnergyStar® appliances, rebates to help offset the cost of qualified appliances. By offsetting the cost of these appliances, the MMLD hopes to promote energy conservation and have an impact on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
