Energy Saving Rebates and Programs
HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENTS
In partnership with NAED, Energy New England (ENE) provides no-cost Home Energy Assessments for NAED’s residential customers. Our highly trained and experienced Residential Energy Advisors will assess your home’s energy efficiency to identify heating, lighting, weatherization, and rebate opportunities that can save you money on your utility bills.
ENE’s Energy Advisor conducts an in-person or virtual walk-through of your home, inputting information into our energy-efficiency software to create a report for you that analyzes your home’s energy usage, identifies home improvement projects that can lower your energy costs, and links to NAED’s rebates and incentives. ENERGY STAR® APPLIANCE REBATES
NAED offers its residential customers rebates on a variety of ENERGY STAR-certified household appliances. ENERGY STAR appliances have been defined by the Department of Energy (DOE) as being significantly more energy efficient than the average comparable model. NAED encourages you to purchase ENERGY STAR-certified appliances for your home today!
When you purchase an ENERGY STAR-certified appliance you can receive rebates, reduce energy consumption, and lower your electric bill. Use the ENERGY STAR product finder to confirm that a potential purchase is eligible for rebates.

RESIDENTIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM
Highly efficient electric heat pump systems can help residents reduce energy bills and carbon footprints by up to 50%. For this reason, NAED offers rebates for air-sourced heat pumps, central ACs, and heat pump water heaters depending on the size of the system. These discounts are available to homes currently heated with any fuel type.

WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM
We encourage you to start saving energy in your home by arranging for a home energy audit to become eligible for Weatherization incentives. Energy New England (ENE) provides no-cost energy assessments to residential customers of its partnering utilities. Energy New England works with NAED to ensure quality home audits utilizing updated software called “Snugg Pro” and also has advice for energy saving appliances and home improvement ideas.

COMMERCIAL ENERGY ASSESSMENT
NAED offers discounted comprehensive energy assessments to commercial customers in partnership with Energy New England (ENE). This audit will assess the efficiency of all major end uses, including, but not limited to, lighting and HVAC operations. All fuel sources will be evaluated during the assessment. At the conclusion of the assessment, the auditor will go over possible improvements that can be made.

COMMERCIAL LIGHTING ASSESSMENT
NAED offers financial incentives to its commercial customers to replace inefficient lighting fixtures and bulbs with lighting products that are more energy efficient. NAED has partnered with Energy New England (ENE) who provides conservation services for the customers of its partnering utilities.
