Mansfield, MA – December 8, 2020 ‐ Energy New England, LLC (ENE) is proud to announce the addition of Justin T. Connell to the executive management team. Mr. Connell joins ENE, as the Senior Executive Vice President, Finance and Risk and comes to ENE from the Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative, where he was the Director of Sustainability and Services. Mr. Connell spent eleven years with CMEEC in various roles, include business development, conservation, customer engagement, efficiency programs, portfolio management and power supply services.
Mr. Connell will be responsible for the Conservation Services, Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, and Electric Vehicle programs at ENE, along with the Finance, Accounting, Budgeting and Risk Management areas of the organization.
President and CEO John Tzimorangas of ENE remarked, “The addition of Justin to the strong team we have here at ENE, emphasizes the organizations desire to provide experienced quality expertise to all the clients of ENE. He brings significant experience in all areas of public power and has interacted with a number of the ENE clients through other organizations and associations, so he very familiar with the clients and the ENE organization.”

Mr. Connell holds a Bachelor of Science, General Engineering degree from New York Maritime College and a Project Management Certification from the University of New Haven. Mr. Connell currently resides in Glastonbury, CT with his wife Cara and their son Jackson.
