ENE provides comprehensive conservation services to municipal utilities residential customers.
Our highly trained and experienced staff offers expert advice and energy savings recommendations. Our portfolio of support and ancillary services allows utilities to meet and surpass DOER Residential Conservation Services requirements with cost-effective solutions.
Customer Communication and Support
ENE provides our clients with an energy hotline to answer questions, provide energy efficiency technical information and schedule customers for energy assessments. In addition, our staff assists utilities in organizing and staffing community outreach events.
Home Energy Assessments
ENE provides comprehensive Residential Energy Assessment services to our municipal clients. Our staff of highly trained and BPI certified Energy Advisors will evaluate homes for broad range of energy savings opportunities including:
- Insulation/Weatherization
- Heating/Cooling
- Appliances
- Window and door weather-stripping and replacement
- Water heating
- Efficient lighting
We provide homeowners with a professional detailed evaluation and summary report of energy usage and recommendations. We also offer Infrared evaluation and blower door tests either as an add-on to our standard assessment, or as a separate evaluation.
Regulatory Filing and Reporting Services
ENE provide quarterly and annual Department of Energy reporting for our clients in compliance with Massachusetts RCS Guidelines. Starting in 2018 ENE will file a collective Municipal Action Plan on behalf of all of our clients.
Rebate and Incentive Processing Services
ENE offers utility rebate and incentive program management services for weatherization, appliance, thermostat, heat pump, LED light, and solar rebate programs. Meeting Energy Star© requirements, or individual utility requirements, our team efficiently and accurately manages utility rebate programs. ENE also processes incentive rebate checks on behalf of the utility.
Direct Install and Technical Installation Services
ENE will provide direct installation of instant measures in conjunction with our Home Energy Assessment services. In additional to measures done at the time of the audit, we provide installation services for advanced lighting and thermostats.
Quality Assurance
ENE provides pre- and post- project inspections to ensure that utility incentivized projects recommended in the energy assessment report meet BPI standards.
Multifamily Evaluation and Assessments
Our experienced Advisors can provide a complete assessment of multifamily communities for our municipal clients. An initial assessment includes evaluation of all common areas and equipment, and exterior lighting. A sample of individual units are evaluated to obtain an understanding of the properties building construct and needs. Based on our findings and recommendations we will work with the utility to develop energy saving measures for both common areas and individual units and can manage the implementation of energy saving projects.
Marketing and Customer Acquisition
ENE has an experienced energy efficiency program marketing staff to assist utilities brand and market their energy efficiency programs. ENE can solve all design needs, including program brochures, mailing inserts, and web design. Our team can assist in community outreach and customer acquisition activities.
