Foxboro, MA — July 1, 2017 ‐ Energy New England, LLC (ENE), an energy cooperative of municipal electric utilities operating throughout New England today announced that Timothy J. Hebert has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Hebert previously served as an Executive Vice President, with responsibilities in the Wholesale Power Supply Services area for the organization.

In the new role, Mr. Hebert will be responsible for Portfolio Management of utility clients, Generation Management, Regulatory/ISO Representation, Credit and Contract Management, Risk Management, Procurement, Brokering and Special Projects.  Mr. Hebert has spent the past 18-years at Energy New England, coming to the organization as it was being formed, after spending time at the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant in their Power Supply Division.

Mr. Hebert holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Science in Management from Bridgewater State University. Tim resides in Taunton, Massachusetts with his wife Kerry and three children.
