Mansfield, Massachusetts, September 1, 2023 - ENE is proud to partner with the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) to support MOR-EV and its recent program changes now in effect.  Since its launch in 2014, MOR-EV has provided rebates for the purchase or lease of electric vehicles to tens of thousands of Massachusetts residents. Managed by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Department of Energy Resources (DOER) and administered statewide by the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), MOR-EV provides rebates for the purchase or lease of electric vehicles.

As of August 8, 2023, the MOR-EV Standard Rebate of $3,500 for purchases or leases of eligible new light-duty electric vehicles (EVs) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) is offered through participating dealerships in the Commonwealth at the point of sale or at the time of lease. The rebate is also now available for eligible used vehicles (EVs) with a purchase price of $40,000 or less to Massachusetts residents that meet certain income qualifications. An additional rebate of $1,500 is available to income-qualifying Massachusetts residents.

In order to support auto dealerships in enrolling in the point-of-sale program and the additional used and income qualifying rebate options, CSE teamed up with ENE with its proven experience in local auto dealership engagement. ENE will provide auto dealership outreach and training, program marketing and event participation to support the evolving MOR-EV program goals.

We’re looking forward to this collaboration where we all benefit from greater auto dealer engagement and participation with the MOR-EV program to better support Massachusetts residents interested in choosing an EV.
